At least for now I have blue skies and mild breezes so I poured another sheet of paper and it is now drying. I will show you a pic when it has dried and I pull it into my studio. Dr. John helped me out today. He is such a trouper and always a great assistant!
Good news! I am going to see the grandkids this coming weekend! It is the prom and I didn't miss it after all. I am so excited. Taking several cameras with me so I can make sure and capture this event. The prom is Saturday night!! So cool!!
I worked on a small painting while I was waiting for the weather to cooperate. Here are some pics of the process....
I have also begun sewing the pieces that I will need for the big fiber piece. The embellisher is so much fun! I am hoping to get all the parts done and then start mounting on the canvas. Tomorrow I makes the tubes that the piece will need. Again, I will show the process...so my camera will be close by at all times.
I am so on a plateau, weight wise...totally bumming me out! It has been six weeks...the same. Sigh!! If I would quit procrastinating and exercise I am sure it would break that cycle. At this rate...it will take two years to lose the balance that I want to lose. (100 lbs) So I best get on the stick!! Here is a recent pic of me now....
Above is a picture taken of me last year around November. You can see the difference already!!
So you can see I still have a ways to go! But I am determined. I have come too far and gone through too much to slough off now!
I think this enough randomness for now. You all have a wonderful week! A magical and blessed week!
Hugging you
SueAnn
lo all your babies...the pic is cool as well...like the mixed styles...have fun seeing the grands!
ReplyDeletelookin FABULOUS girl!! Keep it up. May I say that I L.O.V.E. that picture that you did!!!!!!!! Way way cool.
ReplyDeleteTake looks of pics. of that prom. I can't wait to see them
A rare and dazzling beauty, you are SueAnn! Inside and out. The good thing about a plateau? It doesn't go backwards. Sure, it can be frustrating, but it can also be worse. Right? A little exercise would go a long way to bust through it. Maybe a sweet little walk in the cool evening? Once you find something you enjoy doing, it's more likely you'll look forward to doing it. It's the consistency that makes the difference. Got a bike? Like to dance? It starts with one step followed by another. You aint gotta do no Triathlon. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your new decoupage project and can't wait to see your new paper!
I adore you sweetie. You have more talent, ambition, motivation and discipline in the tip of your pinky finger than I have in my entire old bod. And your Playlist rocks!
I sure can see the difference in you! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture you're working on!
I wish I had the patience and talent to do stuff like that.
Looking good, get to that exercise...just take a walk around the block (5-15 mins). Every little helps!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the g-kids and prom!
Happy RTT!
Sue Ann, you look great. I tried to take pictures of myself yesterday with my new hat but deleted every one. I just look so old! Not that I mind being this old but I don't have to see my face to see the world. Anyway, I was going to say that you don't look like you have 100 pounds to lose. Then I realized that that 100 pounds is probably the total that you want to lose. Listen to Alix.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful, SueAnn!
ReplyDeleteI love the collaged piece and hope you have a grand time with the grandkids. Can't wait to see the photos. :)

Eh...I know all about those plateaus! Mine lasted months and I am weak willed and gave in and put back about 30 of the 40 pounds I lost. SO here I am doing it again and down 12 lbs so far. So DON'T give up. LOL I'm still kicking myself in the rear.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having a blast with the embellisher...I know I love mine. Can't wait to see yoru finsihed piece. I love the colors and texture in the work you have in this post!
