Silent Saturday ~ Part Eighteen

Journey with me while I visit the Alto Earthen Dam in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Ruidoso , New Mexico is high in the Rocky Mountains of southeastern New Mexico . Towering above the Village of Ruidoso is Sierra Blanca and the New Mexico ski resort, Ski Apache. Ruidoso weather is mild and great for enjoying the outdoors and the natural wonders that abound in Ruidoso, Lincoln County and the Lincoln National Forest . (gleaned from their Googled site)

Warning!!!  Some of the photos have been altered due to the whim and fancy of the artist!!  These all met with her viewing pleasure and hope it is yours as well!?!

Have a magical and blessed weekend!
Hugging you
SueAnn

  10. Sue,
    the photos are breath taking.
I went to N.M. late '70's and would love to go back.
I have a few friends that live there as well.
Sandia mountains were awesome back then.. it was before they built all of the homes.
Thank you for bringing back my old memories!

  17. Hello Ms SueAnn,

Gorgeous photos of New Mexico. I can almost hear the stillness and feel the aliveness of it all.

I am also intrigued by your fiber sculpture. The fabric patterns and colors you are using are just scrumptious and rich.

Thanks for stopping by. My creative journey is going to be something.

    Hugs! =D
