I made it!!!!

I was able to get up early and get things done. I made it to the Craft show!! woohoo!!!! Thought I would share some pics of my booth.I was able to overcome that nasty ole flu bug! With the help of all your prayers and rest the days before.
My darling husband (who is the best-est ever) helped me a great deal! He loaded and unloaded the van. That takes alot of effort and he was up to the task. Bless his heart!!!
The show went very well too! I had a ton of people coming up and commenting on how real the babies looked. Some were freaked out by the realism. LOL!! I told them all that is was a great compliment to my skills as an artist.
I received two custom orders and that made my day. Both require research and skill. So I feel I am up to the challenge.

What is a girl to do??

I am all jazzed about the upcoming doll show (this Saturday!). And lo and behold....I come down with the flu!! ACK!! And I do feel miserable. Fever, headache, can't eat...etc...etc...etc...!!!I want to be this fairy and change things right now!! Or fly away from this sickness!! I am so upset.
And I have been so good and careful...I thought. Well....
Lots of chicken soup today and I am going to tell myself that I am well 1,000 times and do my best to kill this virus!!
Prayers for me please??!!

Doll Show Number One is fast approaching!!

Yikes!!! November 7th is almost upon me!! This will be doll show number one! The next show is November 14th. I know!! I am totally out of my mind!
Just wanted to share another little one. Her name is Courtney! She is 21 inches long and weighs about 4 pounds.
She is sporting a onesie made by Diane Waters and I think it is adorable. This next pic is what she will be wearing at the show. Yep!! She is beautiful!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN- Again!!!!!!

Well now it is official!! Tonight is the night!! Goblins and witches are out patrolling the neighborhood in search of those delectable treats!! CANDY!!!
We, unfortunately, don't get any kids coming to our door nowadays. I miss that! I would always dress up and make my front porch and walkway as scary as I could! What fun! And I would by real candy; like Snickers and Milky Way!! No candy corn here!! LOL!!
John and I joined friends of ours and went to a Halloween party last night! What fun! It was a restaruant all decked out with gruesome and grizzly decorations!! We had a blast and I am sharing some pics! I am the vampire; all dressed in black. John is my victim! I made really cool holes in his neck and made sure he was good and pale.My friend Cheri went as Mae West and her husband, Paul, was WC Fields!! These first few pics are us at the nail salon. We got mani's and pedi's before we went to the party!! Now that is what I call getting ready for the evening!!
So that was my evening! I hope you all are doing something fantastic on this special holiday!!! And above all; that you are having a blast!! It is the one night of the year where you can be someone or something else and PLAY!!!!

Isn't this October??

I woke up this morning at 4AM with all kinds of plans. I drank my coffee and watched the news and they were discussing snow in Colorado and northern New Mexico.
Lo and behold!! As dawn broke over the horizon; we had 4 inches of that yucky white stuff!!
Alas!! My big plans are put on hold until later this afternoon. It should warm up (it says here in fine print) and the roads will get plowed!!
