Random Tuesday...Valentine's Day and it's snowing!!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day to all my sweet bloggy friends!  May your week be filled with romance and love!!

And yes, it is snowing...yet again!!  And you all know how much I love snow!!!  Ha!!

As promised...some of my loot from the Bead and Gem show...

Aren't the colors luscious?  Can't wait to start applying them to new collages!!  I could just eat them all up!!

A new sunrise for you...

Sunday morning I signed up at a gym at our local community center...Vista Grande.  And wait till you hear this deal!!!  55 and over is free!!!!!!  You heard right...FREE!!!!  And all the equipment is brand new and state of the art!  For those under 55...it is $200.00!!  Also a steal!  Anywho....will be doing that when weather is bad and I can't walk or in conjunction with our walks.  Exciting!!

 

This coming weekend,  Lisa and Emma ( my granddaughters) are coming to stay.  They are prom dress shopping for Emma!  Her senior prom...well one of them, is coming up.  And she needs a dress!!  So a shopping we will go!!  Pics next week!

Started a new collage...I am taking photos of the process.  Thursday I will share them !!

My heart goes out to the friends and family of Whitney Houston!!  So sad and such a shock!!  First Amy, then Etta and now Whitney.  Three amazingly gifted voices!!  They will be missed!!!

One legend of Valentine's Day is....

The Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred. One legend contends that Valentine was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men. Valentine, realizing the injustice of the decree, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

Random Tuesday....Walked; Shopped;Conquered!!

Back from the Gem Show!!  Exhausted; Sore; and Broke!!!  Ha!!  Here are some shots from the four days!  We had a blast!  The show was HUGE!!!!!!

As you can see...so much to see!  The entire of city of Tucson was inundated with tents and buildings filled with dealers with their wares!  Fun Time for sure!!!

Dr. John survived without me....but was definitely glad for my return.  He had a gift for me when I got back.  A book!  The Invention...Hugo Cabret!!  Such a cool book!  The black and white drawings within it are amazing!!  Thank you Dr. John!!!

I will share some pics of the gems I brought home next week.  Tons and tons!!!  Woot!!  Woot!!  Do I have material for collage now!!  Wowzers!!  And of course, I spent much more than I budgeted for and will have to tighten the belt or get a job!!  Ha!!

Sorry I didn't post while I have been gone....but literally to busy!  Started each day at 6AM and didn't get back to room until after 7 or 8 PM!  Boy did we sleep well!!  We, the girls ( Cheri, Ramona, Tamarah and Myself) saw and conquered best we could!!
