All things baby!!
Some of you may know; and others' not! I also "reborn" (re-do) vinyl baby dolls. I love this art form. It takes portrait painting to a whole other level! My goal is to make each baby as realistic as possible. That includes veins and milk bumps and rashes. Mohair is what I use for hair and it is attached using a felting needle...one hair at a time. So as you might figure out, this art form is time-consuming. But I love it! I thought I would share my most recent work of art...Sophia!
Thank you so much for stopping by! I enjoy reading all your comments and just having a sweet visit with you. Have a magical and faith-filled day.

Mind Wide Open Challenge
I again entered the Mind Wide Open Challenge hosted by Gail Schmidt. The voting begins March 8th...so pop on over there and take a peek at all the wonderful entries that will be posted on March 8th.
The prompt word was "journey" and the picture that you have to use in your piece is fabulous!!.
So I chose to take the word prompt literally and showed different ways she can take her beloved on a journey. She is so shy and doesn't want to seem pushy but she always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon. And a train seems so romantic. Whichever he chooses will be fine with her. Just being together is more than enough.
Here is my entry.
Thank you so much for stopping by and make sure and visit
the Mind Wide Open site.
Hugs and have a great weekend!

ACEO or bust!!
I managed to finish three ACEO's before I went into the hospital. Poured all my anxiety into them. As I was quite nervous!! Now all that is over; but the work still remains.
I came across some collage sheets that had torso's on them and that is what started me on this journey.
Two of these ended up being for swaps and the other was a gift.
I love the discipline it takes to work on these.
It is good practice for larger pieces of art that I work on.
Hope you enjoy these.
Hugs and have a magical day!
