Magpie Tales....

The image for this week's inspiration..

I

After some play...

Images

She wondered if they would ever leave her head.
Filling every space
Is there any room
to live, to dream;
Taking her breath away.

Images

She wondered why he left.
Filling every space
Is there any room
without pain, without emptiness;
Breaking her heart in two.

Images

She wondered when the pain would leave.
Filling every space
Is there any room
taking time, taking hope;
Causing such despair.

Images

She wondered how she lived,
Filling every space
Is there any room
without his ideas, without his plans;
Crowding any dreams she did have.

The repetition works terrifically well here. Difficult thing to do with - the loss of someone who had perhaps been overly dominant to begin with. k.

Sort of sad and romantic this image you create.

Well done. Repetition works well for you here, especially the "Filling every space."

Oh, this hits home, especially the last verse. Thank you for sharing this SueAnn.

So true - it’s difficult to shake off those pictures your mind and dreams, and the repetition underscores the heratbreak.
