Random Tuesday ~ Art Show, Family and Friends!!

Stacy

Well, the art show has come and gone....and I sold one hat. Or rather, Cheri sold the hat and we split the profit. I had good traffic and a terrific response to my work...but no sales. Sniff!!! There is another show on December 1st. I will give that a try as well. People just aren't buying...at least not art, Jewelry, yes and Holiday decorations. So inventory I have and most of it is listed in my ETSY store...so if you haven't started your shopping...it would be great if you checked it out. Link is on my sidebar.

Here are some pics....

My helpers; Ginger ( DIL), and granddaughters, Lisa and Cassie...

My son, Lee Sr. and my grandson, Lee Jr., also helped as well as Dr. John.  We really had a great time visiting and seeing all the other vendors.

Here is Cheri and her booth...

Cheri booth contained jewelry and hats...as well as headbands.  She had some decent sales so that was great!!

Lee and Ginger and the kids stayed at the house Friday and Saturday night.  Good times!!  I was so glad for all the help and we got set up in no time.  Thanks kids!!

Today is my son's birthday!!  Happy Birthday, honey!!  Hope you have a fabulous day!!  He is 44 today and he has five kids!!  He is a wonderful dad and husband!  I am always so proud of him and I also "like" him!!!  LOL!!  He is terrific!!

My granddaughter purchased a new puppy and they picked it up from the breeders on Sunday.  Here is the proud mama.....

Cassie and Ottis

Here is Cassie, channeling Audrey Hepburn...

All week was spent packing and pricing and sorting..so not much else got accomplished.

I am working on a new art contest..remember Mind Wide Open??  With Gail hosting?  Well, she started it up again and the entry is due November 7th.  I am almost done and I will post it soon!!

Our Toyota Truck has over 380,000 miles on it and the gaskets blew!!  Sigh!  So we will be needing a new vehicle.  We are leaning towards the Prius C.  Cute car and fantastic gas mileage!!  50 MPH!!

The truck we will keep and fix when we can get enough money accumulated, Ha!!!  Right now we can still drive it as long as we don't push it and don't use the A/C!!  We have to just keep checking the oil and the coolant system.  So we just use it up here around home.

I have been using my crock pot of late..since I have been so busy.  Been cooking everything in there.  Last night, I did a chicken soup/stew.  Chicken was so tender and the veggies cooked to perfection.  Dr. John has been one happy camper.  I fixed a chicken breast last week...with potatoes, onions and carrots and one can of Cream of Chicken soup and 2 cups of water.  Wowzer!  It was amazing.  It cooked for 5 hours on low.
Give it a try...it is so easy to do.

Today, thank the God Lord, is election day!!  Woot!!  No matter who wins, I will be glad to see an end to all the political ads.  Sheesh!  My mom lives in Ohio and she said it has been obscene!!  With telephone calls, mail delivery and door to door!!  She is sick of it!  So good riddance to all the ads!  Whew!!

Sunday I watched football; chatted with the kids until they left, around noon and chillaxed!!  I was weary.  All my teams lost so that was a bummer but it was nice to stretch out on the sofa and sip a soda!  My feet were still sore!!!!  LOL!!

Well...that is it from me!!  Make sure and visit Stacy at Stacy Uncorked for other randomizers...always some fun reads!!  And consider joining in...I am sure you have some random lurking in your neck of the woods!!

Have a magical and blessed day!
Hugging you,

SueAnn

Audrey Hepburn, indeed! And 380,000? Wow! Made it a long life, didn't it?

I know it's disappointing not having many sales especially after all the work you put into getting ready for the sale. Better luck with the next show!
