Random Tuesday ~ Getting back into the drivers' seat!!

Stacy  Well, here we go....I am back in the saddle...well...half way at least.  To say I have missed all of you would be an understatement! Sigh!

Between the puppy and remodeling and the falls...I am still recovering!  But I just have so much to share....so here we go.....

Last time we talked, my granddaughter. Cassie, had given me her puppy, Ottis, to keep for awhile until she got a place of her own.  One that allows pets!  Cassie is finally moving in this Saturday!  Woot!  Woot!  Bye bye puppy!

I had also gotten granite countertops in our kitchen and new wood floors.  All of that is finished, but I still am in an upheaval!  But the new floors are amazing!

And Ottis!!  Ha!

Original uproar is now a dull whimper...all our books are piled in the dining room.  I plan on getting rid of over half of them and boxing and storing the rest.

The falls took the wind out of my sails for sure...I am still recovering from them.  So it is now slow going.  My confidence has truly been  shaken.  Sigh!

Just got back from a wonderful trip to my mom's in Lancaster, Ohio and then we drove mom and us to Flint, Michigan for a family reunion and a time to celebrate my Uncle Chuck's 90th birthday!  What a blessing this trip has been.  To see family that I haven't seen for 13 years.

Lancaster...

Michigan....Uncle Frances and his home...

Uncle Chuck, my mom, my brother Jack and his wife Linda and Dr. John and myself...

Uncle Chuck and his siblings....

Uncle Chuck and his kids...

Joyce, Claudette, Sharon, Uncle Chuck and Chuckie....

And a picture of the entire clan...well almost....Ha!

Some people slipped away.....but it was so cool to see the clan all together!!

Some weeks ago, there was a full moon.  I again tried to capture it with my little point and shoot!

There is a tree out by my front patio wall called Golden Rain...the bees adore this tree!

Can you find the bee?

Sunrises in New Mexico...

Right out of the camera.....not altered!!

I think I Randomed you enough this time....enjoy!  Don't forget to stop by Stacy/s at Stacy Uncorked .
She is catching up too!!!  Ha!!

Have a magical and blessed day!
Hugging you

SueAnn

Hopping over from Stacy's. It seems a good many bloggers have been having some sort of health issues this summer & I am no different. You be careful. Falling is no fun. Did you break anything?

I loved all the photos of your trip to Ohio. Your new floor looks so beautiful. I would love to have wood floors. Maybe in our dream home we can have wood floors throughout. Carpet is nice, but not so much if you have allergies.

Happy randomizing from your newest GFC follower! ;)

So happy you got to spend time with the family. As always, your life is full of things to do, people to share, sunsets to brighten our days. Is good to have you back!

The area that you're from is so beautiful and green. Your family looks so happy -- what a great thing to go to a family reunion. Your floor looks great. I'm sorry to hear about your falling. Hope you are feeling better now.

So good to see you back but sorry to hear you are still struggling with the fall. I'm cheering you on and hoping you're 100% soon.

You have been busy! New countertops and floors. Phew! That is a lot of work (and dust!) to deal with... And with a dog underfoot too. You are GOOD!

Family Reunions are the greatest! As kids we always attended a giant one for my dad's side of the family. Unfortunately the "younger generation" (ahem, my age group), let the ball drop and we haven't had one is a long time. I'll have to start chatting it up for next year. Thanks for the reminder of how fab they are.

Keep feeling good. xo jj

The family reunion seemed to be a lovely one judging by the photos and that little dog is so adorable. How could you bear to part with him!

Good to see you SueAnn. I hope you're on the mend. Those floors are lovely .. they look very much like what my neighbours put in their addition and I love it.
