Unfinished projects
This can be a real problem in the studio. Because they can accumulate and cause undo stress. Sometimes it happens because you are not sure what direction to go with on a piece and other times you are not fond of what you have done.
My example is a piece that I wasn't that fond of. It just didn't work for me. So I cut it up into large squares; about 2' x 3' and I attached each piece onto a piece of 1/8" plywood. Now we have something.
Purses were on my mind for some reason so I decided to fashion of the sections into a purse.
I added beads and fabric flowers, a feather boa and straps. Wala...a purse!!

Glad I found your blog through Creative Souls SueAnn...this is another post that speaks to me -- so often I start something then look and look and then "what????" -- but I'm loathe to scrap it -- this gives me so much inspiration and the reminder that what something started as, doesn't have to be what it finishes as!
Those fabric flowers are to die for. loooooove them
