Random Tuesday....Finally finished!!

Yep!  My bedroom is finally finished and I thought I would share a pic with you.  It started out with chocolate brown walls and a raspberry pink ceiling and a pink ceiling fan.  Ha!  Like a chocolate dessert of some kind.   No!  We won't go there now!!!

Here it is now with French Vanilla White walls and Cloud White for ceiling and moulding.  And a white modern ceiling fan.

The posters are from the movie Alice in Wonderland from my son and daughter-in-law!  Very cool!!

Thank you all for your well wishes on Paul's passing.  Cheri and I both appreciate them very much!  And the prayers and good thoughts for Cheri during this time of transition is welcomed!!!  Cheri is having a military service for Paul in Santa Fe in the next week or so.  Just waiting on their scheduling.

Running errands on Sunday, we noticed the sky was simply amazing.  The cloud formations were so painterly.  Thought I would share them.  I was in my car and the pink reflections are from my purse.  Ha!!

I am a little nervous today.  I go to see an orthopedist about my knees this AM.  X-Rays at 8 AM!!  Then the appointment with the doc at 9 AM.  I will keep you posted.

Cheri and I and her good friend Carol from the beautiful state of Washington, and Cheri's daughter-in-law, Ruby went out yesterday together.  We went to lunch at Trombino's then on to get our nails and toes done.  So relaxing and Cheri surprised us all and treated us at the nail salon.  What a surprise!! And thanks to Jessica, my nails look fabulous!!  Ha!!

Thank you Cheri!!  I had a fabulous time!

Friday night, I hosted a pizza party!  We all had a blast!  Pizza and Magaritas and chocolate Martinis!  Yummers!!  Cheri, her son, Scott and her daughter-in-law Ruby, Ruby sister and her sister's boyfriend...all talking and laughing at the same time.  Gee!  I wonder why!  Could have been the drinks!!  Ya think?  Ha!!

Chocolate Martinis

1 shot glass of Chocolate Vodka
1 shot glass of Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
      Ice
      Three large olives
      Hershey's chocolate Sauce

Take a Martini glass and circle the inside with Hershey's chocolate sauce several times.  Will look like ribbons.
In a blender, mix the Vodka and the Liqueur and the ice until frothy
Pour into Martini glass and add (on a pick) the three large olives

Drink and Enjoy!!!!

Well I will leave you now!  My drink is calling to me...even though it is a bit early!!  Ha!!

Remember, this is Random Tuesday and we are waiting for Keely to take up the banner once again.  So we are rebels, celebrating this hollowed day!  Don't forget to visit Stacy at Stacy Uncorked!  See what other randomness is going on!!

Have a magical and blessed day!
Hugging you
SueAnn

Hi Sueann, so lovely to read your message, thank you.
Very cool posters, this film is really wierd and fantastic. They look great above your bed. I wonder what kind of magical dreams they will enlighten. You could be Alice! Sometimes I love going to bed just to see what dream I'm going to see. Like going to the cinema..Apart from I can't remember as much, lol! Alice syndrome may happen more than we realise,he,he,he!
Hope your having a brill week!

I love how you never shy away from colour.. including that purse!

I love chocolate martinis .. but olives? With chocolate? It might be that I just don't like olives... ;)
I've made them with a Hershey Kiss at the bottom of the glass.

Good luck with the appointment.

I'm glad Cheri is hanging in there--she is lucky to have you at a time like this and always of course.

Your room is a dream... I'm a bit excited because today my Piano Man and I get to put together my writing space. We have been extra busy since we moved in together, but it seems this weekend will be good to us.

Many hugs!

Nice bed room you have! Oh, do send some of your feather clouds over to me. You nails fit so good with the season.

Thanks for the recipe, some day I'll find time to just chill and have a drink. ;)
