Random Tuesday....It's traveling time!!!

Would you believe that it snowed???  Yeppers!!!  Two whole inches of the white stuff!!!!  Sunday!!!!  I didn't take any photos!!  Even though it posed for me...I refused to acknowledge it's presence!!  Ha!!  And cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!  27 degrees F.!!!!  And this was all done on May 1st!!  Where oh where is spring and the 80's??  Heck, 70's even!!!

The good news is Friday, we went down to Las Cruces and it was 91 degrees when we arrived!!  Ahhhh!  Now that is what I am talking about.  Yes, I know...it was windy...but heck....91 degrees made up for it!!

John was invited to become an honorary member of Chi Episoln at New Mexico State University.  It is a Civil Engineering Group and there are many branches throughout the USA!  I couldn't take pics during the inducting ceremony but I got some group shots afterwards.

Me and the Honorary Chi Ep members

Dr. John entertaining the group

There was a nice dinner/buffet afterwards at a gorgeous restaurant!!  Lorenzo's in Las Cruces!  Nice place!!
They did some groups awards here and everyone had a great time!

Dr. John with his cap and wine glass awards!!

Professor Paola with her professor of the year award..well deserved

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and the surrounding landscaping was beautiful!  Everything lush and green.  Gosh I love it down there!!  Can't wait to move!!!!!!!!

And of course, the pool was open but we left on Saturday so only took a peek!!

Oral surgery went off without a hitch!!  They opened my upper gum and implanted bone grafts...stitched me up and we hope the graft does well.  I won't know for about 6 mos. to a year.  My friend, Cheri, took me!  My appointment was in the afternoon.  Her appointment for a root canal was in the morning...so I took her to that!  Then when I was done, she said she felt good so she drove me and we went shopping for the rest of the afternoon!!  Ha!!  Both of us with drooping lips and drooling!!  Too funny!  But we got some good deals at Tuesday Morning and Hobby Lobby!  So it was worth it!!!!!

Picked up Cassie (granddaughter) yesterday and we went to lunch at Rex's Hamburgers and then got our nails and toes done.  Ahhh!  Nice!!!  Eating is a little difficult since I can't chew on my right side!!  Sigh!!  But pain wise...no problem!  Didn't have to use the narcotic she prescribed for me.  So that was good!!

Rex's Hamburgers are soooooo delicious!  They are homemade and fresh with fresh condiments!  Located in the NE Heights of Albuquerque...quite the popular destination.

Making me drool all over again..but in a good way!!  Ha!!

This week I am determined to finish up the studio and get back to work.  Seems I have been so busy with other things, that it was put on the back burner.  But I have a large collage to do for Dr. Muhlenweg's office so I better get crackin'.  I will definitely take pics of the process and post them for you.  Seeing the process is always exciting to me!!  Hope it is for you too!!

Stacy and I are still rebels with a cause.  Bring back Random with Keely...we miss her!!  Others are joining in this rag-tag crew!  Why don't you???

So go one over to Stacy's at Stacy's Uncorked and see what she is up too!  As for my Randomizing...I think I have pretty much covered it!!!  Ha!!  I am going to have a busy week so lots to share next time.

Oh and by the way!  I have received some emails about my large pics.  Sorry that it is causing some of you to have some problems.  I even reduced the size a little and I hope that makes a difference.  And as for the size...well...I think the larger pics are awesome!  Ha!  I purposely designed the blog so that they could be larger.  Hehehehehehehehee!!!  And the music...well yes it is unique so I posted the music box on the top. That way  you could turn it off if it causes your page to load slowly.  I really want all of you to enjoy my blog and hope this helps somewhat!!

Have a magical and blessed day!
Hugging you
SueAnn

I LOVE all the pictures - it looks like everyone had such a good time! And I can see why you didn't take pictures of the snow - your spring ones from your mini trip are much prettier. ;) I love that you do fun things with your granddaughter like getting your nails and toes done - and going to a delicious-looking hamburger joint! You ROCK! :)

Thanks for diligently rockin' the random rebellion with me, SueAnn!! :)

I've been dying for a burger like that lately; I'm going to be thinking about it all morning! Happy RTT.

That was some May Day! Two inches of snow? Yikes. The warmth of this event must have melted all of it.
