Good Morning! As promised...I am sharing my newest work in progress! Size is 5 feet wide by 4.5 feet high!! Starting with a white canvas...I wanted to combine ideas from my last three projects!!
Here is the beginning of the collage..
Then I just had to add some bling...so copper sheets were my answer...
As you can see I glued down the turquoise silk fabric and added a decorative trim...eyelash trim...to the top! I then attached the copper to the canvas. I also began adding broken vintage tile pieces to separate the copper from the silk material!
Added a fabric heart...starting to create layers! There will be many layers to this piece. I then painted under the copper..a teal blue.
Remember! This is only the beginning. This piece will change from week to week and I hope you will come along with me during this process.

I would love to be a fly on the wall while you work, or just be around sipping margaritas and smiling a lot while you make your magical pieces. Can't wait to see then end result!

Turquoise is my favourite colour (also aqua... and teal...)
it is intriguing to watch how an artist has compiled a piece - the order makes sense only to them and we who watch are always on the edge wondering which direction will be next. And we are always surprised.
