Here we are again....a second!!  Wow!  I am coming to you, live from Homewood Suites in
Albuquerque, NM.

We finally sold our house in the mountains and here we are....homeless.  I have to say it is a strange feeling.  No home to look forward too..that familiar bed....those smells...the creak in the floor....very odd for sure.

All of our personal possessions are at Johnson's Moving and Storage in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  And they will remain there until we close on our new home in Las Cruces, New Mexico. That is really weird too.  We hope to close around September 15th.

I will share pics of the, hopefully, new place soon.  We plan in traveling to Las Cruces around August 31st.  Staying at the El Canto and I personally will indulge in several martinis and margaritas.  Ha!
Our bartender, Saavy, takes good care of us and he makes one means Mojito!!

We will stay there until the papers are signed.  It can't come soon enough!!!

Dr. John is hard at work everyday...he has hardly missed a beat since all of this started back in March of this year.  That's because I am awesome and able to handle this move by myself pretty much.  Just kidding!!!  We worked our asses off...new floors...new granite counter tops...and sink....walls painted. Whew!!  Not to mention the landscaping....etc., etc., etc.

Then the nightmares began....we were set to close on August 15th...and then our septic failed inspection and we needed to replace the whole system...$4200.00.  Of course, the roof needed maintenance to the tune of $1400.00...the freezer began to act up....$80.00; the hot tub motor went out...$180.00...the kitchen sink faucet began to leak....$250.00.  Note*** This was the new faucet!!
We were bleeding money....so much for large profit on our house sale.  At least we did have the money coming from the sale so that was good.  Whew!!

I know...sorry...I am whining....lol!  So, everything was coming against our closing on August 15th.  Talk about nerve wracking...!!! But close we did; thanks to the help of Pete at ReMax and Rio
Grande Septic and Ross Plumbing and many, many more!  A special thanks to Alice and Butch and Cheri and my son, Lee Sr., and grandkids Lee jr., and Georgia and Mike and Kathy too!!!

And now, here we are, Homewood Suites...in our one bedroom suite.  It is great....one large bedroom, big bath, full kitchen and living room.. They offer a full breakfast seven days a week and dinner, Monday through Thursday.  Fabulous!!  Laundry and maid service daily...what more can one ask for?

Have I told you I am a great grandma??  Ha!

mom,is emma and dad,is rami

Emma is my grand daughter and Rami is her husband and of course, Angel...my new great grandson!!  So wonderful!

I am still not into a routine of writing yet but I am sure trying...life has been crazy and you all have been so wonderful making me feel welcomed.  Thanks so much.

Have a fabulous and blessed day,

Hugging you,

SueAnn

Wow, SueAnn-- That is a lot of really, really great news!

Fingers crossed that by the time you read this you'll be in your new home and nearly unpacked!!! But if I were you, the boxes would have to wait because I wouldn't be able to take my eyes off your gorgeous great grand baby! Congrats one and all.

I hope with all this excitement you're taking good care of your health and not over doing it-- "Yeah, right!" is probably your answer ;-)

Keep up the good work and all that happiness.
