Short and Sweet!!!!

Well I am home from the hospital and boy am I glad!!!! I sure missed my bed! Those hospital beds are torture devices! LOL
Everyone at Del Sol Medical clinic was so kind and professional and they took such good care of me. I am very thankful for them.
My stay lasted longer than was expected. There were some complications....a possible leak..that they had to find. Many tests later, they could not find it. LOL Sneaky little bugger. And that is what the doctor figures, a small seep that healed up while we were searching for it. For the latest round of xrays showed no leak what so ever. So I was released on a full liquid diet. Oh yummy!!
And for all the well wishes and prayers; thank you ever so much!! My hubby and I appreciated every single one of them.
So to all who were wondering, I am home and the recovery process has begun. Onward and upward!!!!!
Hugs and love to all
Have a magical day

Mind Wide Open Challenge

Another month and another challenge. I missed the one last month; darn!! Anyway, I wanted to share my entry to the challenge. The first image is the "idea" image that Gail gave us to work with.
Now here is mine.

The word of inspiration was "dream".
This image is so wonderful; lots of texture.
Voting begin on Feb. 8th at Mind Wide Open So make sure and visit and see all the wonderful entries.

I am going to be out of commission from the 8th through to the 13th. I am having surgery. So I won't be able to vote which is a bummer. The surgery I am having is bariatric surgery and I am looking forward to it. It's the beginning of a new life, physically. So your prayers would be appreciated.

Thanks, hugs and have a magical week!

Doodling with purpose!

Another look at my journal pages and I have been doodling as Pam has suggested. At first, you would think she told me to re-invent the wheel. I felt like I was all thumbs. My pen wouldn't work right at all. My doodles look so amateurish!! But, I did not let that deter me. I forged on and I wanted to share some of my results with you.

As you can see! I doodled my little heart out. For all those working on journals, while you are watching a movie or whatever. Doodle!!! It is quite relaxing and really adds impact to the journal. And it changes it's preciousness! Makes it real! Try it out!
Love to all and have a magical day!
