Randon Tuesday....Road to Dallas!!!

                                                        randomtuesday

It is Random time and I am coming to you live from Dallas!!  Howdy partners!!  The weather is gorgeous and I am on the 24th floor!!  Woot!!  The view outside my window is awesome.  We are right downtown Dallas!!  This hotel has 30 floors..so we are almost to the top!

The reason we are here?  A conference!  Called Geo Frontiers!  Dr. John is getting a prestigious award and I am so proud of him.  He will now be a Geo Diplomate...quite the honor!!!  Here is Dr. J!!

Cute isn't he??  WTG Dr. John
group photo...Diplomates from around the world!

And a Woot  Woot for Dr, John!  He is celebrating over 40 years as a GeoTechnical Engineer!!  Congratulations honey!!!!!!

Before we left, I finally got most of the house re-organized!  Whew!  Now my studio is a wreck!!  All the things I moved from the house went there!!  Oh dear!  Now, when I get home...studio reorganization time!!  That will mean boxing up the overflow and taking to storage unit.  At this rate, I will need another unit before the year is out!!  Ha!

I couldn't do this post without a sunrise shot.....

While I was exploring this hotel...the Sheraton Dallas Downtown...I hit the gift shop!!  Ha!  Got some really cool t-shirts for the grands!!  Also got a little something something for Cheri who is watching our house!!  Thanks hun!!

I redid my mantel and tree for spring but I won't reveal until next Tuesday...a little too early yet!

I visited the gym here and it is the size of a commercial gym!!!  They have 10 treadmills..in fact...they have about 10 of everything!!  I will be going there when I finish this post!  After dinner last night, I need to workout!  Ha!  Had their gourmet macaroni and cheese and salad....the plates alone took up half the table!!!  Then a strawberry shortcake...OMG...TDF!!!!Top it all off with a Raspberry Splash made with raspberry Smirnoff vodka, peach Schnapps, Cranberry juice and lemon lime soda!!!  So refreshing and potent!  Ha!

So I guess I should get the workout clothes on and head out!  Don't forget to check out Keely at The UnMom and see what she is up too!?  All check out the other Randomizers...lots going on I am sure!!

Prayers for Japan!!!  What has happened there has touched us all in profound ways.  Words cannot express the shock and sadness I feel and I am sure you are feeling too!  I will be texting 1-800-REDCROSS to donate!  I wish I could do more!  Totally overwhelming!!

Have a magical ans blessed day!!
Hugging you
SueAnn
