Random Tuesday....Roasted and Radiant!!!

Yep!  That is right!  Laid out in the sun last week and finished my book!!  Woot!!  Of course at this altitude you can only stay in the sun for about 30 minutes!!  It's intense!!  Any who; it was a very relaxing week and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!!!!!  Just me and the humingbirds and the most gorgeous yellow finch I have ever seen.  A beautiful lemon yellow and he kept hanging around all week.  Fabulous!!

The above picture obtained through Wikipedia!!  But that is exactly how he looked.

Good news!!!  The painting has sold and is now hanging in the Christian Counseling's office.  And it looks fabulous, if I do say so myself!  It brightens the waiting room...it just glows!!  And the customer absolutely loves it!  She is so thrilled and so am I.  Just to see her smiling face...she couldn't keep her eyes off of it!  So it's all good!  Thanks for the prayers and positive thoughts!!  Now on to the next one!!

Dr. John has finished his book!!!  Woot!!  Woot!!  He has turned in all the pages and the required paperwork that goes with it.  Copyrights and index and things like that!!  We are thrilled!!  Next step is to get it published and out into the marketplace!!  Wowzers!  I am so proud of Dr. John!  High five Hun!!!

Well, we will be leaving to go to Ohio in about three weeks!!  To see my mom and my brothers!  It will be so much fun.  We are flying!  So that ought to be fun...NOT!!  Mom's pretty excited to see me and I her!  It has been one year!  Wow!  I have a lady coming to babysit the house and the outdoor plants.  First time to do this, but it has been so hot...I need someone to keep an eye and water all the outdoor plants!!  Plus, she will clean while she is here!  Woot!!  I'd say it is a win, win!!  Anyone live around Lancaster/Columbus area??  Love to meet for lunch!!  Let me know!

I miss having a dog!  That furry creature who imparts unconditional love and is always so happy just to be with you...anyplace and anytime!!  I would love a minature bulldog!!  They are the cutest puppies ever!!

All together now...Awwwwwwwwwww!  But....I don't miss all the things that come along with these adorable creatures.  Vet visits and bills; baths and clipping toe nails; pooper scooper; illness and death.  Sigh!  I just can't go through it all again...YET!!  I will let you know if and when I can!

My friend, Cheri has been vacationing in Canada and I miss her terribly.  But she is having a blast and has promised to take lots of pics!!

I have an art/craft show coming up on November 5th and a Doll Show on November 12th!!  Yikes!  And it is mid-August!  Time flies when you are having fun!  I better get the lead out and get some art done.  I only have some small collages ready and not many of those!  Oh dear!  Well, you know where I will be over the next few weeks!!  And surgery is coming up soon too...Oct. 5th is the big day!  I am kind of getting nervous now!

My mom called me after her 83rd birthday and told me she was able to fulfill a longtime wish!  Then sent me this photo!!

Mom Ilene in black t-shirt!!

You go mom!!!  She took her first ever hot air balloon ride!!  And she was just so bubbly!  She had a blast!  Doesn't she look terrific??!!!!

Been walking about 6AM most every morning...the sunrises of late have been spectacular....

I want to lose another 15 pounds!!   Just saying......

I think I have reached the end of my rambling randomizing and hope you have enjoyed your stay!  I am going to go and fire up my Keurig now and have some Folgers' Black Silk!!!!  Yum!!!  Add a little Coffee Mate Cafe Latte and I am good to go!!

Make sure and check out Stacy at Stacy UnCorked..she has plenty of Random happening as well as others!  We are still carrying the banner for Keely while she is on hiatus!!  Boy!  She sure has been gone a long long time!  I miss her Randoms for sure.  Oh!  I am talking about Keely of TheUnMom!  Give her a shout out too!!  Let her know we all miss her!!!!

And to all of you...have a safe, blessed and magical day!
Hugging you
SueAnn

This post is so chock full of goodies I don't know where to start. Glad the yellow bird visited you and brought a little joy.

I knew the customer would go ga-ga over the artwork for the wall. What a gift for you to know your artwork is in a place where so many people will benefit from it.

Good for your hubby for finishing his book. What an accomplishment.

I so like the pic of your mom in front of the hot air balloon. Good for her.

Your sunrises are like oil paintings. I would love to be able to get pictures like this, or as good as this.

I want a puppy too; we would sunbathe together. Okay, he would sunbathe and I'll read under some shade; the sun gets me sleepy.

Congrats on the sale.

Your mom looks great indeed! Enjoy your trip to see her; I bet you get to see more pics.

Great your friend is having a blast; she deserves a break or three.
