Random Tuesday....A planting we will go!!

Welcome to fall!!!  Sniff!!  I am definitely in mourning!  It has been skies and sunshine...temps around 75 degrees!  I know what is going on....trying to persuade me that it is just as sexy as summer!!  Well, it won't work...because I know it's traveling companion!!   WINTER!!!  Bah Hum Bug!!!

I have been planting trees!!  Well, not really me...but my helper Joey!  I received 75 Bristlecone Pines from the NM Forest Service!!!!  I am putting them right along my fence line in front and up one side!!  It is going to be so cool!  And less windy eventually!!  When we get done, I will show pics!!  Here is a pic of the evergreen tree!!

The pic on the left is an older one...they are also known as the Methuselah tree.  Ha!!  Now I have to set up the irrigation lines!  Whew!

Cheri, my BFF, has been gone and she asked me to feed her horses!!  I have never done this before in my life!!  Pie and Cookie are mother and daughter.  Pie is over 20 years old and Cookie is around 15 or so.  Pie is full of attitude...Cookie is sweet and quiet.  Ha!!  Pie lets me know when she thinks I have been late is coming to hand out their food!!!  She tells me off and kicks the fence!!  Ha!!  Cracks me up!  They are Paints and gorgeous!!  This has been fun for sure!!

I have been forgetting to bring my camera with me...I will try to remember today!!  Anyway..they don't like the flash!  They also love ginger snap cookies!!!!  They will nod their head yes when you ask them if they want a cookie!  So cute!  Pie and Cookies are really smart too!  This has been so much fun...I have to admit I was nervous about doing this.  The biggest thing I ever took care of was our Great Dane, Eloise!!  I still miss her!

As you can see, I have been bad about taking photos this past week.  Just been crazy around here!!  My house is a wreck and so is my studio!  Today I plan on bring in a fork lift and clearing it all out!!  Ha!  Well, close anyway!!!!!!!!!

not my house but it sure feels like this right now!  Ha!!

Been shopping!  On !!  I love that place!  You can shop to your hearts content!  All manner of shoes, clothes and accessories!!  They ship like almost over night at no charge and it you don't like it or it doesn't can send back at no charge whatsoever!!  Coolness!!  I ordered a pair of black and white flats with a bow, a pair of shoes with 3 inch heels (brown) to wear with slacks and maxi skirts, and a pair of color rubber-like boots for this winter!!

What ya think?  I loved them all...sorry Dr. John!!!  Ha!  I do love me some fabulous shoes!!

Well, you know the routine!  This is Random Tuesday after all!  Stop by Stacy at Stacy Uncorked and see what other Randomizers are doing!  And if you are feeling really brave, and you are not afraid of seeing some Zombies, go and visit Keely of The UnMom and see what she is up too!  She was our fearless leader and is taking a hiatus!!  We miss her for sure!!

Join in!!  Lots of fun to travel around blog land and see what is going on!

Have a magical and blessed day!

I love fall, so I'm relishing in the cooler weather! ;)

I'm looking forward to seeing the trees all planted! Sounds like it'll be perfect not only for the decor, but the wind buffer. :)

Those horses are beautiful! They do have quite the personality, don't they? Just like big dogs! :)

I'm glad you had the disclaimer that the picture of the messy house wasn't actually yours... ;)

I have a thing for shoes, too - love all your choices. Love Zappos, and need to do some shopping of my own! ;)

Thanks for rockin' the random rebellion with me! :)

SueAnn I enjoy these posts of random goodness. How lucky to be able to look after horses, I think it's a riot that mama horse is cranky, lol!
No wonder you love Zappos, there is no stress involved and no shipping. Wow! good think I don't have access to that in Canada, I'd be in trouble, lol!
glad that's not your house too, I was surprised when I saw all the clutter, and though, no, SueAnn can't be that bad, lol!

enjoy your day

What beautiful pictures! The horses in particular are gorgeous. Oh, I love autumn! I don't like winter, but I love autumn. It would be nice to have the mild temps year round, but I do enjoy the four seasons. Keep the randomness going!

Love the look of those gnarled evergreens.
That messy office made me feel SO much better. (I have mess everywhere.) If the forklift truck does the job let me know & I'll borrow it!

Good luck with the forklift and the cleaning. The kids vs. mom and dad usually leaves our house a mess--we parents never win.

Those painted horses are beautiful. We don't seem to have them up here, that I know of. Then again, I don't know much about horses, but these ones look most unusual.

As much as you hate fall.....that's how much I love it! Hot weather and I just do NOT get along. Cute cute shoes that you ordered. Love them. Love that free freight thing. I'm always so afraid things won't fit when I order them online.

I'm quite smitten with those cute little boots. They'd sure beat the camo barn boots I wore last winter 'round the Ponderosa!!!

God bless ya sweetie and have a amazin' day.

love that random sunrise!!!

Lovely to hear from you, Sue Ann! I have wanted a paint horse for years and years (and, oddly, always wanted to name it Pie). Great shoes! I was going to buy a new pair of penny loafers online but, having never bought shoes online before, I was hesitant. Your purchases have reassured me, however, so a shopping I will go!
