Random Tuesday....The wind doth blow!!

And it is really blowing!  Yesterday the winds were clocked at 65 MPH!!  Yikes!  I saw a crow flying backwards!!!  Now that is a sight to see.  My trash cans were blown everywhere and I had a large box held down by several logs and it is totally gone!  Can't find it anywhere!  Weird!!!!!

I got the large canvasses built and they are now ready for me to start putting the pieces and parts together.  Though I still have a lot of sewing to do.  I will definitely be showing pics of the process.  And for Bob who is reading this...I am working as fast as I can.  I hope to have them done by the time you return from you vacation.

My Daughter-in law is having her graduation ceremony this Friday.  She worked so hard and has achieved Sum Cum Lauda!!  She is a licensed teacher and currently has her own first grade class.  What  a wonderful teacher she has become and her kids are so lucky to have her.  Way to go Ginger!!!

Dr. John had a rough week last week.  His back molar was bothering him.  Has been bothering him off and on for about one year.  Dentist keeps fooling with it.  First a filling, then a root canal!!  So he goes in again, complaining about this tooth...dentist checks and says, "Well this time we have to pull it!  It is cracked in half!"  The point?  I said to them both to pull it 8 months ago!!  Sigh!  So he was a little under the weather for a couple of days but he actually recovered quite nicely.  And we all know how men can be with such things???  He did real well!  Thank the good Lord!!

I have been walking for 45 to 50 minutes almost every day!  I am so proud of myself!  Even in these horrible spring winds...I have been out there.  My good friend and neighbor is walking with me and that makes all the difference.  Between the dogs and the hills, I need all the support I can get.

I have been looking at those gorgeous RED washer and dryers lately.  I am so lusting after them.  I have perfectly good Maytags and there is nothing wrong with them.  Darn it!!!  I keep telling Dr. John how these OLD Maytags' use a lot of energy and the dryer does take forever to dry.  The new ones only take 37 minutes to wash and dry.  And there is a steam function.  Ooooo!   Be still my heart!  I will keep working on him.

I think this is enough Randomness for you today!  If you have any Random thoughts you would like to share.  Link up at The UnMom  and tell us all about it!

Have a magical and blessed day!
Hugging you
SueAnn

It's super windy here, too, and getting hotter everyday!
I would love a set of those lovely red appliances. Too bad they'll have to stay in my dreams!
Have a wonderful (albeit WINDY!) day, Sue Ann! :)

You sure are getting a lot done. I am glad for your daughter-in-law, and I am glad your husband's ordeal is done. And congratulations on the exercise.

Take care of yourself!

I like your randomness. 65 MPH is too windy to be outside. Congratulations to your daughter-in-law! Wishing her much success and happiness. Hubby and I have been walking buddies every day for about three months now. Whew. About an hour every day. I now understand that walking alone is not going to help me lose weight; I have to cut the portions in half. Darn
and I so like to eat. But I have been eating already half of what I was before the exercising. I agree with you, the red machines are so nice.

I need to start walking again but it's creeping on summer here...hot and humid.

I also have a molar that is troublesome. root canal, then it had to be re-done with a new crown which came off months ago and I have yet to make the appointment to get it put back on.

Sorry about your hubby's teeth woes. Hopefully it will be all over now.
Have a great rest of the week - may the winds be calmer !

Nothing random about it. Or at least, I wish we were all random more often.
Congratulations on continuing with the walks, and on your d-i-l graduating, and tough luck with those molars.

Many thanks for your kind comments.

Well done you for getting out there and exercising no matter what the weather.

Our old washing machine died after 11 yrs of service. I'm amazed by how much bigger and quieter the new one is.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Congrats to your daughter-in-law!

I love to walk, but when I get in a slump, I put on my pedometer and it motivates me!

I find that if you take a hammer to the old Maytag, it helps them go to Old Maytag heaven faster.

Uuuhhh! Those new Maytags are so pretty and shiney. Buy an extra pair and send them my way. I'd love to have them too.
Good for you and your walking. I've been walking for about 2 months and feel tons better already.
As for those winds.....sounds like Oklahoma. The wind blows like crazy here all Spring. It's just one giant bad hair day and I do NOT like it!

It is not easy to get out the door in inclimate weather. I know; I live in the Pacific Northwest where we JUST had our first 70 degree day this year. I also would love to have a stylish front loading washer & dryer. I'll take mine in white, please! I'm not nearly as bold as you. Sadly, it shall have to wait until Mom's inherited W & D falter.
