Picked up my granddaughter, Cassie and her college friend, Bailee and off we went to Gallup, New Mexico. Our mission...Gallup High School Prom...2011! See, Cassie and Bailee are going as well. They have a date they are sharing. He is Taylor and he did not have a date for the prom...so now he will have too gorgeous girls...one on each arm. Taylor is a long time friend of Cassie's!

We drove and drove and made it there by 2PM!! Just in time to drop the girls off for the assembly. Cassie wanted to visit old friends.
I left them there and went to La Quinta to check into my room. I then called Lee (my son) and Ginger (my DIL) and told them I was in town. So we planned on meeting up at their house around 4PM and it was 2:30 so I had time to unpack and set up my laptop! Forgot my camera cord though so I wasn't able to do Silent Saturday...shucks!!
Got to their house and caught up with the younger grands, Georgia Rose and Lee Jr. Also saw Emma and took her to work. She works at Quiznos! Then we ate dinner and watched a movie. Time for me to leave and go to bed. I was tired...long day! Tomorrow is the big day...prom night!! Woot!! Woo!!
I took so many pics of the girls getting ready for prom, I decided to do a SmileBox. Easier to look at and fun to do! So I hope you enjoy this random selection of getting ready to go to prom pics!!

Thank you Sueann! Taking the painting into Town post office hoping the painting will reach destination much quicker.
The paintings are like precious babies and the worry they caue when long in the post.
Do you feel the same with your art also?
Loads of love!

These days are such fun with family. Loved the fun pics of dress, etc....
Just watched your lightbox thingy! Just lovely! Great photos, I love all the dresses, and what a great memory of what looks like a wondeful night! I never had a prom or anything like it at school - so have only seen them in the movies! I'm so looking forward to when my girls grow up and get to go to theirs!!
