Had a wonderful weekend!! Hope you did too! Went prom dress
shopping on Saturday with the girls and then did the Olive Garden for an early
dinner. Fun times!!
Emma, our third oldest grandchild is going to her Junior Prom and all of us
went to shop for the dress with her! Lisa, her big sister wanted to join
us but came down with the stomach flu. We missed her...
Emma decided to go to David's Bridal in Albuquerque on
Saturday, so I met them there. She tried on several dresses with all of us
helping to pick out samples for her to try. Ha!! Cassie, her older
sister and Bailey, Cassie's college girlfriend picked out most of them.
Here are some she tried on...

That is Cassie on the right, and Bailey in the middle and Emma up on the
platform. I won't tell you just yet, which one we all helped her
choose. You will have to wait until next week when I post the "getting
ready for prom" pics. The prom is this Saturday! So I am taking
Cassie and Bailey and we heading up to Gallup for the big event.
Cassie and Bailey are going to the prom too as guests of a good friend. So
they are doing the limo and the dance...the whole nine yards!! Ha!
Bailey is here from Hawaii and has never been to a prom. She is so
excited! Here are a couple of dresses they tried on...

It is a shame all these girls are so ugly!! I mean, seriously!!!
Ha! If only....sigh!!!!!!
Then Monday, Cassie, Cheri and I got our nails done after a delicious lunch
at Trombinos'! Yummy!! A great Italian Restaurant. I had a
unique design on my nails..drove the nail tech crazy (Jessica). She did a
fabulous job!!
Cassie had the Ravioli and Spaghetti; I had the Baked Lasagna and Cheri had
the Stuffed Manicotti! Talk
about delicious!! Tromboni's is a great place to eat in
Albuquerque!!
Oh! Guess what! Hilary at The
Smitten Image, chose my blog for The Post of the Week Award!!

Thank you Hilary! It is quite an honor to be chosen as one of the
recipients!! Woot!! Woo!!
I spent Sunday, going to storage unit and Walmart. Then watching the
Cleveland Indians play the Mariners! What a game and Cleveland won!!
Wowzers!! They are 8 and 2 so far...pretty cool!! They beat the
Angels last night! They are 1st in the American League! To say we
are in shock, is an under-statement!! But we are also excited!! They
haven't played this well in a few years!!
Oh!! Guess what is coming in November???
This is so cool!!! I can't wait!!!! Sigh!! EDWARD!!!!!
After we did the whole, try on the prom dress thingy...we went to the Olive
Garden. Dr. John met us there!!

Also part of the group was my daughter-in-law, Ginger but she won't sit for
pics! Darn!!!
After copious amounts of bread sticks and salad, we could barely eat our
dinners!!! I had one of their new chicken dishes!! TDF!!!!!
I would just like to say that Blogger is driving me crazy right now.
Every two sentences, it says "not responding" and sits there and looks at
me!! Grrrr!!!
My friend, Paul is still in hospital in serious condition.... positive
thoughts and prayers are coveted for sure!! He now has pneumonia!!!
Good thoughts for his wife, Cheri as well!!
And you will remember that Keely over at The UnMom is taking a break so we are
carrying a new banner...

Lovely new blog look, Sue Ann. Congrats on your POTW. The prom dresses are so pretty. Back in the dark ages when I went to prom, our dresses were big poofy skirts. I like the more natural look in the dresses here. And amazing colors too. I look forward to seeing what dresses they picked.
You have so fun random posts. Prom sounds like a fun tradition. Your nails look fabulous, I wish they has a nail saloon that did not cost the shirt on my back here...
Congratulation on the feature!
Yes, we are looking forward to November! We can always read the book one more time.

Busy! I hope they picked the last two prom dresses as they looked so lovely in them. Every time I see your nails so nicely done, I want to let mine grow too (but typing a gazillion words a minute don't come out as great when my nails are too long *sigh* must continue to enjoy yours. Yum, yum food! And Emma has the cutest dimple in the history of dimples. Well, it might have to share first place with Ellen's (from Stuff from Ellen's Head) for that lady has a very cute dimple too ;-)
About the Cullens... I never got into the family, but I'm willing to enjoy them through you.
Hugs, precious!
