I am using an Embellishment machine and my sewing machine. An Embellishment machine uses felting needles....five of them! It has no thread or bobbin. The felting needles have barbs on each end and they pierce the top material and take some of the fibers and push it through to the back of the bottom layer. This embeds it giving quite a unique look!
The patterned material is a wool rug that was cut up. They originally used it to cover some chairs in the lobby. They said they had some left over; so I took it and I am going to incorporate it into the piece. I think I have just enough!
I am going to be adding some reds and darker blues as well as threads and beads. The beads will give it that added bling!! And everything has to have bling!! Don't you agree??
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this new journey I am on!!
Have a magical and blessed day!
Hugging you

I've never heard of an embellishment machine. That is really interesting. I'll have to Google it just so that I can see what one looks like. You are definitely a woman of many talents. And you sure do go BIG when you do a project! No messin' around for you, girl. Can't wait to see the progress of this project, it's right up my alley!
