New Work in Progress~~Day Three!

Added some color and some dimension.  Don't know if you can tell that it comes off the canvas?!

So this is what I have so far!  Back to work on it tomorrow!

By the way!  Saw Alice in Wonderland and we loved it!  It was fabulous!  So colorful!  If you haven't seen it, please do.  It is definitely worth the price of admission!

Have a great rest of your day!  (It is snowing here~we have three inches so far) Waaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Hugs
SueAnn

Argh to the snow ! We have had rain incessantly since yesterday afternoon but I am sooooo grateful it isn't the white stuff.
Have a cozy night !

One could get lost in the textures and diminsion of your tapestry. I bet you're saying "Enough all ready!" with the snow. Let's go see Johnny again and forget all our cares and woes. (Actually, I don't have any. Do you?)

That combination looks fabulous! Can't wait to see the final product!

The Boyfriend and I went to try to see Alice in Wonderland last weekend, but it was sold out when we got there. It made me sad, but also a bit hopeful--hey, the economy is looking up; I think, hope...

SueAnn,
Sorry to be a bore about Elizabeth Berg, but have you ever read her novel The Art of Mending? The main character is a quilter, and there are some really wonderful descriptions of fabric/fabric stores/her workroom, etc. You might like it.

I saw Alice, too; I thought that the Red Queen was especially good.

Wow SueAnn. Are you doing all of that by hand? I can only imagine how long that's going to take to finsih a piece so large. I sure hope they are paying you for the sample too!

Great mix of colors and fibers.
