Random Wandering Tuesday Thoughts!

randomtuesday

Oh migraine!!  How I loathe thee!  You have been my companion for over three weeks now and I have had enough!!  Be gone!  Go back to Hades where you belong!  Owie!  It sure puts a damper on creativity when you have this pounding, piercing pain in your head, neck and behind the eyes!  But I have soldiered on and have been able to get things done in spite of this ....this....this....pain in the ass!!  Well...head!!!  This is me, in pain!  HA!!  Looks like Tiger Woods!!  Oh dear!

Talked to the client and told her the mirror is ready and she is so excited.  They purchased this from me to give to their son who has recently purchased his first home.  I hope I can get pictures of it when he puts it up!

I see the lawyer, Bob and his partner on Friday.  This is to show them examples of color and some of my ideas of joining the fabric together to make this fabric/fiber wall hanging.  The hanging will measure approximately 9 to 10 feet high (long) and 8 to 9 feet wide!!  I sure hope they like my ideas because I really want to work on this.  Plus they have many blank walls!  WooHoo!  They sure could use some large scale paintings!!  I am just saying!

Tapestry by Edward Burne-Jones 1891

Florida was nice...the area (West Palm Beach) was beautiful.  But boy was it cold and rainy!  So much for escaping the cold snowy weather.  The temperatures were about the same between both places!  LOL!  So I spent most of the time in the room, reading and doing room service!!  Gee!  I wonder why I gained three pounds??  Ya think??

Argh!!  This migraine!!  I am going to set my head aside so I can get some work done.  I go to Garden Club today.  We are going to be talking about planting trees and what kinds will do well here in the mountains.  I want to know which trees have a natural gopher and mole repellent??  Is there such a thing?  Probably not...I remember the movie "Caddy Shack". The gopher always wins!!  Sigh!

Gopher on top and mole  Ewwwwww!

Well that is enough randomness!  You have a magical, blessed and pain-free day!
Hugging you
SueAnn

Oh, I feel for you and your migraine suffering.... I hope it ends soon. I had to run to school this morning to give my 10 year old son some of his brand-spankin' new migraine medication. I haven't gotten another call, so I'm guessing it worked. Wahoo!

The moles in our yard are going haywire right now.... mounds everywhere and some of them so large that I was convinced we must have a badger, too!

Oh SueAnn, I am so sorry that you have migrains! Bless your heart they are so painful!
Let me know if you find out about rodent resistent trees! Boy, that mole is 3 kinds of ugly!! I've never seen one before. We have gophers on occasion but never a mole. I would freak out if I saw that weird looking thing. My dog is a good gopher hunter, so my neighbors and I don't really have them too awfully much.
I can't wait to see your art mirror hung. It's spectacular!! Blessings on a headache free day!!

Sue Ann, I'm so sorry to hear you suffer from migrains! I've been struggling with MY headache (cervical headache) these days too. My hubby suffers from very bad migrains, I know how bad it is, and how invalidating. Hope it's gone now.
I used iron sulfate as natural mole repellent and it worked.

Oh SueAnn, no! Not migraines!

Most people don't understand what a migraine headache even is. They have no idea. I didn't either until I experienced one. Check that - I experienced FOUR migraines over the course of six months. Back in 1985. I remember distinctly because they were THAT bad. They came out of nowhere and I was sicker than I'd ever been in my life. The pain, throbbing, sensitivity to light, movement. The nausea! Oh, I would have cut my head off if I could have. Finally I called a neurologist and was told to come in for an examination the next time I was in the midst of a headache. Magically, I never got one again. Isn't that odd? They came out of thin air and left the same way. That was 25 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

I hope your migraines go away soon and never come back. Damn things!! But at least you have a sense of humor about it. And yes, you rather DO look like Tiger Woods in your head diagram.

Sorry about the Florida weather. Kind of sucks that you came all this way to be rained on. West Palm is typically sunny and oh so warm... even in February. Kinda sorta. Better than North Florida anyway.

You'll have to come back and give us another try. Hey... how about we meet in Orlando and take the theme parks by storm. You and me. Can you even imagine the trouble we could make??

Think about it. I'll let you know when it warms up. IF it ever warms up.

Three weeks (three hours, even) is way too long to suffer with a migraine. I'm assuming that two Advil and a hot bath don't work on this kind of headache?

Isn't the world small? Yesterday, in Berkshire, England, I was playing tennis with a woman whose sister lives in Palm Beach . . . and she was complaining about how cold and wet it is!

Your mirror is fabulous.

Oh Sueann, so sorry you're still being bothered with migraines. I haven't had one in many years - the worst I ever had was the last I ever had, thank goodness and knock on wood!

The mirror is fantastic! It really turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined - I hadn't dreamed it would be so huge! You should be quite proud of it!

SueAnn, love all your photos, Migraines are horrible, I don't know how your making it through. I have very seldom had one, but I have to lay in the dark for them to go away.. feel better soon. Take care.
