WIP ~ Day Six ~ Fiber Piece!

Well I have assembled the fiber piece onto the canvas. So all the main parts are there. But I need to do the finishing touches. Still adding more material and handmade paper. I hope to have this prototype done by Friday so I can show Bob and Sherri! Here are a couple of pics!

Will post pics over the next couple of days as I progress.  Thanks for viewing!!

Have a magical and blessed day!

Oh that's quite beautiful! It reminds me of geological pictures, where you can see the different layers, and you can't help but think of all the time that has passed. It's just so awe-inspiring, so much so that you wish that layers weren't just various shades of tan, or grey, but something vivid enough to really make you feel all the life that went into forming the layers over time.

That's what this piece feels like to look at. Like it's the inner reflection of what those geological formations would look like if they could paint their own picture of everything that went into forming them.

Something beautiful, and textured, vivid and just brimming with vibrant life :-)
