Random Tuesday....Not spring yet!!

So I took pictures at the 90th birthday party.  Everyone was there and we had a blast.  Then I came home and looked at the pictures then deleted them.  Yep!  You heard me correctly.  Deleted them!  I thought I had downloaded them already.  NOT!!!!  Sigh!

Wanted to take pictures of our trip home...so camera battery needed charging.  What a good camera operator I am...I brought the charger!!   Woot!!  Plugged in the camera battery and went to sleep.  Got up and put battery in camera and went back to the birthday girls' house and wanted to take more pics.  Camera said, "Battery exhausted" and shut down.  WTH!!??!!  The charger didn't work.  Tried to charge it in the car and it still didn't work!!  Got home, thinking I would have to get new battery or new charger; I tried one more time and it worked!!  Yippee!!!  So why the hell didn't it work before!?

The last couple of days the weather has been very spring-like.  Birds singing; sun shining; blue skies...loving it!  Coming....SNOW on Friday!!!   ##@@@**##

Getting manicure and pedicure today!!  I love it...a pamper day.  The day I had yesterday, I need a pamper day!!  Working on that fiber piece and it kicked my butt!!  More on that later!

Finally did it!!  I exercised yesterday...belly danced to video.  Well..it is low-impact aerobics!!  And I had a blast.  But I sure didn't move like those girls did on the video.  There hips must be filled with WD-40!!  Darn!  But I will keep at it..ya never know.  I may get those gliding hips too!!

Going to see Cirque Du Soleil in June...hence the promo in my sidebar!!  I have seen them once before and they blew my socks off.  I am so looking forward to seeing them again.  We are taking my son and his wife too.  Then we will go out to dinner.  It will be a fun afternoon!!  Sadly, can't take pics during show.  So I can't share it visually with you.  But I can get the music and that I can share!

I am still all about Alice in Wonderland!!  I am seeing it again and I can't wait.  And the music rocks!!  Every song is amazing!!  If you haven't seen it yet...you must go!!  And see it on the IMAX screen in 3D---OMG!!  It will blow you away!!

Well I think I have been random enough for this Tuesday!  Have a magical and blessed day!  Will post tomorrow of my work in progress piece!  So stay tuned!
Hugging you

Oh belly dancing must be the thing for me if the state of my middle is anything to go by !!!

I was musing whether to go and see Alice with my children over Easter and now I shall.

Have a lovely day xxx

If you really want the photos, there are ways for professionals to un-delete them. Don't know how much they charge, though...

Your camera woes sound very frustrating indeed. Sorry that's happening and I hope your charger works more reliably from now on. I suspect that something just wasn't sitting quite right the first couple of times. They'll usually light up to tell you when they're in use and/or done.

That's a bummer about those pictures. I hate when when I do that kind of thing.

Have a great RTT.

Hmmm. No photos of party. No charged camera batteries. Off with your head! Or, uh, maybe you're just TRYing to do too much? Impossible, you say? Well, anyway, thank you for that little snippet of "Alice". Must see again...

Loving your random stuff today, SueAnn. I share many of those loves - Alice was incredible !! Want to see it again too.
Have seen Cirque du Soleil 6 times - 5 different shows. "O" in Vegas was an event of my life ! Took 300 elementary school kids to "Allegria" when I was teaching in Montreal(with lots of good helpers !). If I could come back and do it again, I would love to work in their costume department.I would love to run away and join that circus...
Hope you day is full of fine imaginings...

Ohhhh nooooo! The accidental deletion is the absolute worst. You feel like swearing about it for ages afterward.

Belly dancing as a form of exercise sounds quite fun, but challenging. Every now and then we'll go to a Moroccan restaurant here, who has a very gifted belly dancer in their employ. I think the only way I could move that rapidly would be via accidental electrocution.

Good luck with the exercise regime. I watch DVDs as I plunk myself onto the elliptical and then lift afterward...and it always has to be action adventure. A period drama somehow doesn't quite inspire that "Go for the burn!"

I think that every imaginative child finds their first literary friend in Alice. Just the thought of a fantastic world, through a looking glass, or down a hole. It makes the world seem friendlier and with more possibilities.

Admittedly, I ended up reading a fair amount about the life of Lewis Carroll and it is somewhat amusing from where he gleaned his vision, eh?

But I don't think it was just "Drugs, drugs, more drugs" that brought it about. I think he was just trying to get back to the land he'd naturally inhabited as a child.

Also, you should get this, my son and I have been taking turns randomly bellowing at each other, "YOU'RE LATE FOR TEA!"
