This painting is from Marc Chagall and is going to be quite a challenge today. Visit The Mag and see what others have done in word and phrase with this painting. Fun...
Here is the painting..
The Promenade, 1918, by Marc Chagall |
This is what I did with the image....fun image for sure...
Heart Shadow
He could feel her presence,
even today!
Deep in his heart
shadowed by her love.
He could feel her presence,
all around their home.
Seems so strange;
she is not walking by!
He could feel her presence,
must be an echo,
traveling through time
surrounding his mind,
He could feel her presence,
trailing behind him.
She hadn't left;
He knew she remained.
He could feel her presence,
touching him.
Even though one year had passed,
her love remained.
He could feel her presence
he could hear her voice
he could smell her scent
Sigh!
He ached for her!
Have a creative and imaginative day!
Hugging you'

def not easy to let go...and even in reality it can seem we are still surrounded by them...or they are right there....and i dont know if that ache ever really goes away...
Just to tip you the wink- your Mag link goes back to the Mag - not this post! :)
Maybe input it again?
Very touching... I believe they are there. I love your new header.
Your interpretation of the Chagall looks more Chagall than Chagall! Love the poem too.
A great title - Heart Shadow. A sad shadow to have to carry around.
Very interesting view of the picture.
I like that image of a heart shadow...and I like the image you created of Chagall's artwork, too.
